I've tried to recreate the fur, deleting the vertex groups, opening Blender again and restarting my PC. Nothing have fixed this, maybe you can? First pic is of the starting point, second pic after combing the fur to the left.

Random > random is enabled and I did not use grid because it does not work with verticles groups also when using grid, trees are in the air.
